Homemade Pizza - Pinterest

Again I have been using Pinterest to build up my culinary skills! One of these days I'm going to take pictures of this stuff! For now I just want to introduce you to the easiest Pizza I've ever made!
Pizza Dough Recipe - I would have never thought making my own dough would be quick and easy but it is! This recipe takes about 20 min and that includes a 10 min rise time. When I'm making it for one meal and not one plus lunch the next day, I divide the dough in half after the rise time, wrap it in plastic tightly and then into a Ziploc Freezer bag. It freezes very well, the night before I need it I just put in the fridge and then let it sit out for about 20 minutes prior to baking. The first time I made it I didn't roll it out, just pressed it into the pan on parchment paper topped and baked. Husband said it reminded him of Digiorno's pizza (thick crust). The next time I made it, I rolled it out super thin Husband said it reminded him of restaurant style pizza and that's what he prefers. The recipe on the site (after the dough recipe) calls for roasted garlic - If you have it, go for it! The house will smell amazing! If you don't have it, no worries, it is delicious without it. I lightly brush the dough with olive oil (and garlic - I love garlic) then my homemade pizza sauce, cheese, pepperonis and italian sausage! Baked for about 25 min and it was fantastic! Now I generally use parchment paper for my pizzas, but I do preheat the cookie sheet prior to placing the pizza on it! I think it gets me a crunchier crust. Top it with whatever you like! Roasted veggies, lots of meats, extra cheese, or a blend of cheeses - go crazy! Just enjoy it!
