I mentioned in my last post that our dear friends have a 4 month old daughter named Cambria who has recently been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. A cancer that is considered two things - a childhood cancer, and CURABLE! But Cancer often means treatment in the form of surgery and or some sort of chemotherapy. She's 4 months old - and as her parents have said, she won't remember this time. It will simply be a part of Cambria's story. Please visit their blog Our Little Cambria and keep this little one and her family in your prayers. We know that God is in control and He's holding this little one and her family safely in His arms. And prayers not only for healing, but also for patience, and peace.
Talk about beautiful! And cold at only 25 degrees! Hubby and I got quite a workout clearing off our cars. Normally on a lovely weekend day like this, we would have just stayed home and enjoyed watching it snow. But Hubby and I both needed gas and more importantly - sudafed! So we journeyed about a mile up the road for gas and a stop at Walgreens. We're trying to get me used to driving in inclement weather. I still HATE driving in the rain with a passion. It's just one of those things when you grow up in a state where rain and snow aren't a regular occurrence I guess. Aside from our little snow "storm" not much has been happening. Life is good. We're still waiting on the house. When they told us it could take awhile, they weren't kidding. Our offer has been accepted by the seller - waiting on the bank to accept it. And from my understanding, the bank will get an appraisal done before deciding if our offer is good enough. I certainly hope that it is. Otherwise we'll be back to house hunting!
