Black Friday!

The ultimate shopping day... Well at least that is what they'd like us to believe. Target had a 50in tv for the low price of $229 - I told my husband and he said "yeah but what brand is it?" When I told him it was Emerson he said not worth $229. I've only once gone shopping on Black Friday and it was an interesting experience to say the least. It truly did bring out the worst in some people. And after talking to some friends in retail - they all assured me that a majority of the deals would be available all weekend. With the exception of the electronics and appliances which would be gone in the first few hours anyways. But clothing stores and your basic mall stores - likely those prices will be in effect all weekend. Enough about that! Tonight is also date night! Get dressed up a little and I don't know what he has in mind but I'm looking forward to it. We had a lovely Thanksgiving. In general it was a fairly normal day. We spent time with some wonderful friends who as far as we're concerned are family! My bff's son was so sweet - he's 4 and when it was time for us to part ways after dinner he was so sad. He tried to get us to come with him. After all, we're his family! - I just wanted to eat him up!! And I am so thankful that we'll be moving closer to them soon! We did get a some bad news though - the 4 month old daughter a couple we adore has a neuroblastoma - The oncologist assures them it is curable which is wonderful, however it does mean fairly major surgery and or Chemo. They have an amazing team of doctors and  of course the Master Physician is in control! We'll just wrap the family and the doctors and nurses in prayer and love. And leave it in HIS hands. So now that I've relaxed away most of the day - It's time to get the day really started. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
