Back to the Saturdate - we also went to the mall and picked up my band (had to send it to be re-dipped) and while we were there, we decided to walk around the mall and see if there was anything worth spending a little money on. K bought some things and we went to see a movie - Man On A Ledge, pretty good. I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars! And on our way out we stopped at Burlington to look for a winter coat. While there, we got into a conversation about our future. Specifically my need to find a job. And to feel like I'm contributing something to the world. And my fears about returning to school. And I gotta tell you - my husband is amazing. I am truly blessed to have him. I am able to be completely open and honest with him about anything and if he doesn't understand he asks questions that'll help him to understand. And while nothing has been determined regarding what exactly I'm going to finish my degree in, I know its going to happen and I'll spend some time alone in prayer and together with K to determine the direction to go with this.
Living each day to be the wife, daughter, sister and friend God has called me to be! I've been married for 3 years to my best friend and love of my life! I am embracing my present and learning to walk in it! Lord help me :-)

Wonderful Weekend!
Haven't felt well in over a week. This weekend I finally felt well enough to go out and we had our Saturdate. It was wonderful. Slept in and then went to brunch. Went to a new (to us) spot and it was good but I think I could have made just as good a breakfast at home! In fact that's something I'm realizing as we go out to casual restaurants, I am a pretty good cook! I'm not ready for Top Chef or anything like that but I can make pretty much anything I want to order at a casual dining restaurant. I can't wait till we have our house with a wonderful kitchen with a gas range and double ovens! I have found that I really enjoy cooking - who knew? I certainly didn't think I had it in me :-) It makes me really excited for hosting holiday meals and parties one day! (we need to invest in some more furniture before we host anything at our current apt. I must thank the good people at Allrecipes and of course the Pioneer Woman for all the inspiration and the wonderful recipes! My husband doesn't cook often but when he does its good! So we have saved a lot of money the last few weeks by eating at home. We used to eat out a few times a week. Now we save eating out for our Saturdates.
