I have been making working out more of a priority not only because its good for me but also because it gives me a place to go and something to do for a couple of hours. Applying for jobs online is tedious and with some jobs having assessment tests that take 75 min or longer by the time I need to get dinner started I've spent most of the day in front of the computer. Fresh air is really important. Just because I'm allergic to it all doesn't mean I don't like being in the outdoors! So a few weeks ago I made myself a nice schedule to help me break up my days. It includes time to go to the park for a walk/jog and on those rainy day I break out the jump rope on the balcony and a workout from pinterest. But I also realize that this is truly an opportunity for me to work on my relationship with God. Its something that I've been neglecting. Watching my home church service on Sundays and occasionally on Wednesdays is not enough and I know it. My prayer life isn't what it should be either. My biggest prayer right now is that we find a church home here. A place where we can continue to grow in our faith. A place where we can jump in and be active in the community. This week I will begin reading The Resolution For Women. I want to be the best woman and wife I can be. And that means I need to reconnect to the Father and my place as His daughter. Or as Priscilla Shirer put it A Jewel in His Crown. I am also looking for a daily devotional - any suggestions?
Living each day to be the wife, daughter, sister and friend God has called me to be! I've been married for 3 years to my best friend and love of my life! I am embracing my present and learning to walk in it! Lord help me :-)

Working On Me
I've realized that in my current jobless state, I have been feeling like I'm losing myself a little. My life revolves around my home and my husband. Not a bad thing at all. I love my husband he's amazing. Its just that I've had a job since I was 15. Not working has been really tough for me. So here's what I've been doing.
