- The Weather! Seriously - I am beyond over Old Man Winter! It did bring us some beautiful photos though. And I even attempted to make a snowman for the first time since I was a kid. And we rediscovered the workout that is shoveling snow!
- I learned that a poisonous snake bite can kill you if you don't get the anti-venom - no matter who you are. I strongly believe in the power of prayer - along with that I believe that God gave men the ability to find and create things that are good for mankind. It just depends on how those gifts are used. HE also gives us the choice to use them for good or bad.
- Jesse Williams from Grey's Anatomy cemented his spot as my celebrity crush! It is always wonderful to hear people in the public eye who may have a voice that goes farther than mine speak out when they see injustice in the world. And I love that he is honest in saying it is an AMERICAN problem. No matter the color - there is clearly a problem in our country. Now is the time for us to begin to create solutions. We really do need to figure out a way to live peacefully. Otherwise this will continue to be a huge problem. And our race-baiting media is a huge part of the problem. I can not wait till the day when a person in the news simply says, a man was shot by another man this afternoon - instead of adding the color of the persons skin. When it comes down to it, all people of all skin colors and nationalities and backgrounds are capable of doing anything. The choice is up to us (with a few exceptions in regards to mental health) if we're going to be good people or bad people. Do good things or bad things. We have the choice. Choose wisely!
