Stomach "Flu"

So the title of this post pretty much sums up my beautiful sunny weekend! For the first time in MONTHS the sun was not only out, but it warmed up to 60 degrees!!! What could possibly derail plans to be outdoors on a weekend like this? The stomach "flu". Which as I've learned isn't actually a flu at all. It all started on Friday morning. I wasn't feeling 100% but I headed off to work with the munchkin figuring I'd feel fine in a few hours. And by noon I knew I was wrong. By 2 I called Munchkins mom and she was headed home and so was I! I'm not sure I've ever felt so bad about being sick before. Before heading to the dr I hit up Dr. Google and realized there wasn't much a dr could do for me. So I picked up some Campbells soup. Wish I had been in Nashville, I would have went to Demos' for their soup. It is amazing, I swear it has healing powers!! Picked up some gatorade, crackers, and made it home just in time to be sick again! I must say that was the worst drive home I've ever made. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. So here I am. A day later and while my tummy feels much better, I feel so weak and exhausted. I have slept off and on all day. The worst part of all this? You'd think it was wanting to sleep in the bathroom but nope. The best part of all this? My husband realizes that I trust him implicitly. You see, my being sick meant I couldn't join him for the house hunting yesterday. And we are in a sellers market so when something comes up that we want to see, we go ASAP! So, he went and when he came home, he showed me pictures and made an offer on a house I've never seen. And while I hate that I wasn't able to see it, I have no doubt that if our offer is accepted, we'll be very happy there. It looks like a great starter home! We'll be closer to DC, and a bit closer to our friends!

And now - even though it's not even 7pm... I think I'm about to lay down again. Seriously wiped out from my limited diet of water, gatorade, and soup.

We didn't get that house - but thankfully new houses hit the market daily!! Especially as it warms up!
