Spring Cleaning

OK, so it's still a bit chilly but it is technically Spring! So that means it's time to get to the Spring Cleaning! And thanks to Pinterest I found this handy Spring Cleaning guide. Now we have an 1160 sq ft apartment so Spring Cleaning isn't as time consuming as it would be with a larger place! But it still needs to be done! So the kitchen is up first. Least favorite part of this is clearing out the cabinets - mostly because I have to put all the stuff back :-)  Tomorrow will be the bedrooms and on Friday I'll finish up with the living/dining room and bathrooms. Bathrooms will probably take as long as the kitchen because I feel the need to go through and clear out some of the products I have that either I don't use, or have expired and I shouldn't still be using. And then organize what's left. My bathroom has a TON of stuff under the sink and I'm not really sure I need or even want all of it. I keep stuff for so long because I always think "well, I might need/use this at some point in the future". And 6 months later it still hasn't been touched! The cabinet in his/our bathroom isn't nearly as bad but it could use some organization. I have a few of those clear shoe box things I'm going to use to wrangle some of those toiletries. It makes it much easier to find things. At the end of the week I'll be so happy it's done! And then in a few weeks when it actually warms up for longer than a day or two, we'll do the clothes thing. Which means get the warm weather clothes out of storage, try stuff on and donate what no longer fits but is in good condition. Throw away what isn't in good condition and evaluate what we need for the summer and go shopping! Anyways, I suppose I should get to it! Happy Hump Day!
