Vacation Pt 3.

Last one I promise!! 


So after a fun filled weekend we had only one more full day in Nashville. I had lunch at Ruby Tuesday with another girl friend - I would have felt bad for our waitress since we sat for like 3 hours but they weren't at all busy so we ate and talked! Catching up is always so much fun!! Now if only after all the meals I ate we walked and talked for a couple of hours instead of sitting and talking, I wouldn't have gained 5 lbs while I was there! I met up with Hubby at Opry Mills Mall - Haven't been since it flooded in '10 and I must say they fixed it up and its much better than it was before! It looks amazing. 
So what to do for our final night? There was only 4 people we hadn't seen. My brothers a sister in love and Kris and RJ - As I think about it, I'm sorry we didn't get pics with them!! SO we went to Kris' place and visited with her and RJ for a little bit and then met up with Bro and Sil at a Mexican Restaurant - Casa Fiesta. PACKED on a Monday night. The food was pretty decent but the company was even better. Its amazing how sometimes you don't realize how much you miss someone until you see them! I really miss my brothers (brothers by love not relation) they are seriously amazing guys. I am so incredibly blessed to have them in my life. The years I spent in Nashville shaped my life in so many ways. Not only did I meet my amazingly perfect for me Husband. I also made some of the best possible friends. They are truly my family now. Tennessee is my home as much as MD is. And as my FIL said as we were leaving - it is headquarters. We always have a place to stay and people to love us and love on us and for us to love on. Amazing isn't it? How no matter where we are in life, God gives us exactly what and who we need. Awesome! When I moved to Nashville I couldn't have imagined how things would turn out. I am so thankful and grateful! If there is a word that means Beyond Blessed - that's me!
 The drive back was calm and uneventful. We stopped at a Waffle House where I learned that my love affair with Waffle House is over. It was the same food as always but I suppose after eating such good foods - it just wasn't good enough. So no more Awful Waffle for me. 
We made it home - exhausted but happy to be home! After such a long trip. And vowed no more road trips longer than 8 hours! :-)
