Weekend Roundup!

I'm not going to say best weekend ever because we have some amazing weekends to come! But it was a really good one! There was one sad spot - I didn't know the Lion King was out of the vault and it went back in on the 30th but I didn't see the commercial until late that night. :-( Oh well, next time! On to the Weekend!
Friday we went to see Iron Man 3 in XD 3D.  We enjoyed it. I will say that I don't see any real need for 3D. It could just be me but 3D bothers my eyes. But the XD is something I didn't know what it was. So what's the difference between HD and XD? XD means floor to ceiling, wall to wall screen. (again not really worth the extra money) But as far as the movie goes - I enjoyed it and when they release the complete set we'll purchase it.
Here's the trailer:

That was our "date night" and it was awesome!

Saturday we lounged around in the morning and went shopping in the afternoon! The shopping is the 2nd best part of losing weight! Unfortunately Hubby likes shopping more than I do so I'm disappointed that men's clothing stores don't have comfy seating areas for the women like the women's stores do for men! We went to a new to me store - Charming Charlie - If you have one in your area, go check it out. Really great store for accessories and they had some nice clothes but it was mostly about the accessories! Everything grouped by color and the prices started at $15 and went up. It's like the grown up version of Claire's. The stuff is not expensive but unlike Claire's it doesn't look cheap!
And then we went to Ponchos and Pepe's "Mexican" food. It was decent but it was much more Tex Mex than Mexican food.

And that brings us to yesterday! The 3rd Annual Naptown Barbayq and Music Festival in Annapolis. So much fun! Great food decent music and the weather was beautiful. It was sunny and breezy and I had the most delicious "Pig Candy" (sweet and savory bacon) I've ever had! Along with some pretty good pulled pork, and mac and cheese topped with chili. And for dessert we had fried Oreos and Bruster's real ice cream. My husband said the fried Oreos tasted like diabetes. Our first and last time trying them. They were very tasty but I think I could feel my heart slowing down... In fact, we didn't even finish our order which came with 5 or 6 and I think we ate two and half maybe? It was a lot of fun! And since it ended at 6 we headed over to the Westfield Mall to see if we could find just one more outfit for my boudoir shoot! Wouldn't you know it, we did - at the last store we went to about 5 minutes before closing!
Great weekend!! I am looking forward to next weekend and the many festivals and festivities that are coming!
