Happy Turkey Day!

Every year on Thanksgiving my facebook timeline is flooded with people saying what they are thankful for. Some people do it each day of Nov. leading up to Thanksgiving. It's really very nice to see people being thankful. Especially when there are so many sad, bitter, angry status updates and tweets. Today and everyday I'm thankful for everything! I've said it before - I really have a wonderful life. There are bad days for sure, but as the song goes - all of my good days, outweigh my bad days!! I am particularly thankful that I don't yet have to spend days cooking a big meal! Today Cracker Barrel is cooking for us. This is only the 2nd year since I was 18 that I haven't been working! And normally we'd go to my bff's house - but this year she didn't want to cook and clean up so she suggested we go to a restaurant and while Cracker Barrel isn't exactly gourmet cooking, it is delicious and the price is friendly to our pockets! After that meal, we're headed to a friends house for dessert and drinks! For dessert I made two delicacies - Rice Krispy Treats, and Cap'N Crunch Marshmallow Treats and we'll also be taking some Egg Nog, and Brandy with us.
It will truly be a happy day with family and friends!
