Ok so with the unexpected power outage the husband decided to take the whole week off. I'm all for extra time with him. But it does kinda throw off my routine. I like to watch the morning talk shows while I wake up and get my day started and while I do the chores. It entertains me while doing otherwise boring tasks like washing dishes and folding laundry. The last few days it have been interesting. I've seen a ton of Kung-fu movies and quite liked a few of them which surprised me. And I've watched more than enough ESPN! But yesterday we watched Dragon Tattoo Trilogy extended version. Only two things to say about this!
1. It was an all day affair!
2. It was AMAZING. We used Netflix instant viewing.
And on the 4th, we went to the lunch at Cheesecake Factory and then it was off to Cinemark for Spiderman in 3D. I have discovered that 3D viewing gives me a headache. And while I did enjoy the movie (two thumbs up!) When the next one comes out I won't be going to see it in 3D!
Now the other issue this week aside from the power outage - the "heatwave" that apparently has gripped the East. My goodness, I will take 115 degrees with no humidity over the madness that was 97 degrees and 70% humidity! I miss the desert heat! Oh well, today is much nicer. I may sit outside and read before the sun goes down (sunset is around 8:20pm) And I love reading in the sunshine. I just started a Nora Roberts Trilogy The Inn Boonsboro Trilogy I read Bride Quartet over the Christmas Holiday and loved it! So I'm hoping to enjoy this as much!
