Two Steps back?
The job I left almost a year ago is hiring again in a different station. I've applied but I'm nervous. If they re-hire me, will I feel like I'm stepping backwards? I do NOT want to be stuck in a position with no real opportunities for growth. But as Husband said, we can take this money and send me back to school. So I'm not sure if I should have my fingers crossed or what but thinking back, I did enjoy the job, just not the environment I was in. Maybe I'll enjoy it again? I suppose time will tell!

Leap out on faith and also agree with what your hubby says--he has a great point. You never know....GOD could be setting you up THERE to get the job HE wants for you--could walk in through the doors of THIS job. Leaping in faith has never hurt ANYONE because GOD ALWAYS CATCHES US. <3
ReplyDeleteHey Renise, I just wanted to come on here and check out your blog (I'm really enjoying reading it!) and also apologize if I misunderstood a pretty benign comment you made on that other blog. I think I read it wrong the first time and already have my guard up, so I took it the wrong way. You seem like a beautiful person who loves our God, and I am just as guilty as other people for misunderstanding something and taking it for face value. I should know better.

Jamie - your apology is sweet and accepted but not necessary. The internet is such a wonderful tool but I know how it can sometimes be difficult to know the true tone someone is attempting to convey! I appreciate your prayers! And yes Hubby is awesome!
