180 Movie

If you haven't heard of "180" I'm happy to introduce you to it. I invite you to watch it and then if you are as touched and affected by it as I was, I dare you to share it. Email it, tweet the link or share it on Facebook. There are some graphic moments and photos showing the Holocaust and abortion which is referred to as the American Holocaust. Prior to watching this I have said I am pro-life/choice. I knew that I personally could never abort a baby but I also felt that it wasn't the governments place to tell a woman what she can and can not do with her body. After all, there are many different reasons women have abortions right? I watched a very good friend of mine suffer through a very difficult and painful pregnancy before deciding to have an abortion around 8 weeks...I hoped and prayed she would change her mind. When the day came I drove her and she cried a bit on the way home where her mother in law was waiting to take care of her. Years earlier, a friend of mine found herself in a different situation, she was pregnant and neither she nor her boyfriend were "ready" and in fact, she had never really wanted children. She drove herself and when I came home from work, she was crying and sad. I don't know how they felt, I don't know how they feel today. I do know that while in my heart I felt it was wrong, I also felt that I couldn't abandon my friends whom I love like sisters and it isn't my job to judge them. I am sad for the babies that were killed. I am sad that I can name more than a few people who casually had abortions. One did it because she wasn't 100% sure that the baby she was carrying was her boyfriends. Another because she was young and unprepared. Sadly I could go on even more... This video will challenge you to look at abortion in a way that perhaps you haven't looked at it before. Its just over 30 min long and worth every second of it.
Just click 180 movie and let me know what you think.
I pray you have an open mind and heart as you watch and listen. Answer the questions and see how or if your answers change as the video goes on.
