Changing it up!

Its MONDAY! I'm one week away from a girls night out :-) We'll be going to a drag show on a Monday night. Why on Monday night? No idea but that's what the groupon was for! Today I'm making a change to my workout routine. I've been doing these great strength training workouts from Fitness Blender and while I'm seeing some wonderful physical changes (toning and firming) which are wonderful for my NSV's (non scale victories) But I'd like to see that number on the scale go down just a little bit! So 3 days a week I'm adding the pure cardio and the cardio abs workouts from insanity! We're back on the 4-hr body diet while hubby does month 2 of insanity. This diet plus that workout bring major results thanks to the loads of veggies  and protein and the lack of carbs and white stuff. Though I must say I really don't like not being able to eat my carbs. Its one thing to just not eat them but its the not being able to eat them that gets me. Makes me want a big plate of pasta! Anyways today I'm headed to the library - I have some books on hold and I've finally finished the 3 I had here after renewing them a few times! I am truly in love with the Yada Yada Prayer Group series. Showing me things about myself I hadn't realized or things that I would like to pretend aren't there. Also gave me some really great ideas of things and ways to pray. Example, one of the ladies is a grade school teacher and each morning she touches each student's desk and says a quick prayer over them for something she has noticed they need. Like one kid is really smart but he needs special assistance that they can't offer him in her school, so she prays that his mother will make the decision no matter how difficult to get him the help he needs to bring out his full potential. Such wonderful examples of forgiveness and love and how life is difficult and that bad things happen but God can use those bad things to bring about good things! Such wonderful books! One day I'll have the whole series in my Library! Ok time to get this day going. (yep I know its practically noon but I got a late start) 1st up, Insanity then shower and head out,library then groceries - Already got my menu planned out! And then prep for my meals this week along with getting some serious laundry done! I've been slacking on the laundry.

Yay for Monday!
