Workout Wednesday - sort of...
I'm going to try to be consistent with these posts. I started Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 last week. I gotta say, just like with 30 Day Shred, workout 1 kicked my butt. I was drenched in sweat by the end and barely made it through my 10 minute ab workout (below). Biggest difference between Ripped week one and 30DS week1 - Ripped I felt mostly in my lower body the next day and 30DS I felt more in my upper body. Which is actually perfect since I am alternating the workouts! Taking one day off. My off day will either be Saturday or Sunday. Depending on what we have planned for those days. And I'm going to do week one one more week before moving on to week two. Haven't seen the number change on the scale but I am feeling stronger!
For my ab workout, I came across a 30 day series for abs on youtube! The workouts are on the BeFit channel and they can easily be added to my workouts.

Husband and I also went to the park together and did a 2.4 mile loop alternating walking and jogging. We're going to try to do that together at least twice a week. The park is so beautiful! I am hoping that when we move to a house we are able to find a neighborhood that has something similar nearby.
