December 31, 2010 I married my best friend. We were married in the cutest Wedding Chapel in Annapolis. Our officiant gave us a wonderful personalized ceremony and our closest family members were there (well most of them were there). Two years later that is truly one of the happiest days. Was it perfect? Yep. Things went wrong and it wasn't the wedding I always dreamed I would have, but I married the most wonderful man for me! That made it perfect!
Last year we celebrated our anniversary in Gatlinburg with a group of our closest friends who weren't able to join us for our wedding.
The couple to our left got engaged on 12/25/12! And the couple to our right got married on 12/29/12!! So much love all around us. These are couples we'll be celebrating with for years to come!
Now to this year! We had a wonderful quiet evening together. I was under the weather so we skipped the fireworks but we did go to a wonderful romantic Italian restaurant for dinner. We exchanged cards and gifts. And we rang in the new year the best way I can think of - together! Oh did you know wine will freeze? Yep we found that on NYE as well! Doesn't have quite the alcohol content as say vodka - Oh well, it thawed quickly enough!
A waiter at the restaurant was kind enough to snap this shot on hubby's phone! I only wish we had taken a full body shot I really liked my outfit! Dinner was fantastic service was fantastic and the company was incredible! He's an amazing person and I am truly enjoying the life we're building together!
