This week I asked Husband what he'd like for dinner. Normally I get something very vague like - Chicken. This time, I got 4 meals! Actually only the main dishes but I'll just toss the veggies on the side. He wanted BBQ Kielbasa and cabbage last night using this BBQ Sauce. We try not to eat much sugar so I leave out some sugar and the corn syrup until I've added all the other ingredients and then slowly add the sugar to taste. For tonight I have a Pork Shoulder cooking up in my Crock Pot. That one iappliance is in the top ten list of best gifts ever! Today's recipe comes courtesy of Ree Drummond over at The Pioneer Woman Cooks. I have made many of her recipes. I love her Cinnamon Rolls more than anything! Only difference is I use a cream cheese icing when I make em! She's someone I'd love a chance to cook with! Also on deck for this week Buffalo Chicken Meatballs (deliciousness) and chicken wings! I'm so thankful to him for choosing the menu this week. My least favorite conversation begins with - what's for dinner or what are you thinking for dinner. Especially when he's asking me at noon. And I also hate telling him what we're having and being met with the "not in the mood for that face". And I understand that certain foods you have to be in the mood for but when we're working within a budget you eat what is in the house! :-) Ok off to finish putting everything back in the cabinets and putting the tree in the box (yes our tree has not yet made it to it's box - but that changes today!
Happy Wednesday!
