Summer Time Bucket List.

I was browsing Pinterest and came across This Pin and that site lead me Here which has inspired me to create my own Summer Bucket List. When I took this job initially I didn't know there would be an older child us so I didn't plan for many out of the house activities other than walks for fresh air and running basic boring errands. So now I've got at least a blueprint. (other than walks around the neighborhood, and swimming!) Thankfully there are a LOT of FREE activities to do. The only thing that cost money is the gas to get us to the train station and the ride into the city. Once in the District, we can walk to where we need to go! So over the next 4 weeks we are going to go to the following wonderful places - National Museum of African ArtNational Museum of Natural HistoryNational Air and Space Museum, and The Renwick Gallery ( the 11 y/o enjoys crafts I think she'll like it)  Each trip will cost about $5 for the round-trip train ride. And the Smithsonians are all FREE! Pack a sack lunch and we'll be good to go. We'll also go to the library once each week. She enjoys reading so we went a couple of weeks ago. I wish there was a $1 movie theater around here. That would be a nice treat. I'll figure out a few other things for us so that on Mon. I can see how she feels about it. She'll probably be thrilled just to be getting out of the house.

Time for an excursion with Hubby. We're going to check out Potomac Mills in VA. Hopefully the traffic doesn't suck like it normally does heading in that direction. Being a holiday weekend and all it might not be too bad!

Happy Friday!
