Weekend Roundup

4th of July was great! Went to a friends place to eat and enjoy good company! She is still trying to convince us to look into moving into their subdivision. It's a great townhouse in a good area (and SFH's are available in addition to townhomes). But I don't love the location. On Friday we went to Potomac Mills. It was worth the drive. Took about 90 minutes to get there. It is HUGE! It took us a few hours to walk the whole mall. Of course shopping along the way! When we left, Husband was happy I talked him into an indoor outlet mall instead of the outdoor one he initially wanted. The air was so thick! Glasses fogging up and everything. It was great to get home and rest our legs! Saturday we went to a 1st birthday party! We had a great time. The air was a bit drier and even a little cooler. It was a backyard bar-b-cue. The little man had family and friends around and by all appearances he had a great time. Even got some awesome gifts. Even got a trio of these
LOL the parents not as thrilled as the kids to see 3 of these. There were so many adorable kids there! And I love getting together with this couple and their friends. We were talking as we drove home that we should introduce them to the couple we spent the 4th with. We think they'd hit it off. After the party, we went to see Fast and Furious 6. It was pretty good and left no doubt that there will be a 7 coming out. And Sunday we just hung out at home. Since I haven't been sticking to my cleaning schedule like I used to, there was a bit more to do today than usual but the biggest upside to having 1160 sq ft. is that cleaning it really doesn't take long! Especially since we aren't very messy to begin with. The only thing left to do is mop the bath and kitchen floors and since I'll be home tomorrow, I'll do it then! Life is good when it's clean!
I hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday weekend! I'm looking forward to a great week! A friend of mine turned me on to Regal Summer Movie Express. Kids movies twice a week for $1 at 10am. I'm going to take the kids on Tuesday! I am looking forward to it. Obviously the baby won't be interested in the movie but 10 am is around the morning nap time! So he will probably sleep through most if not all of the movie. Worst case scenario, we only see half the movie and we're only out a few dollars.
