- Most women I know have LOTS of underwear. I know only a few that couldn't go at least 3 weeks if not a couple of months without running out. It so happens that I am a fan of pretty underthings! (oh and socks but that's for another post) I even worked at Victoria's Secret for a while in college. I stocked up with my 30% discount! Now obviously I've gained some weight since those good old college days but I didn't lose my love of pretty undies. But I also couldn't bear to get rid of the ones I grew out of. I don't believe in throwing out perfectly good clothes (except for my fat jeans! those are GONE FOREVER!) So a few days ago, I was feeling bold after a particularly good day (Jillian+run w/hubby) and decided to try on what used to be my favorite pair... they fit perfectly! *Happy Dance time* And what is a happier dance than this one!
This helped me to see that my workouts are definitely paying off. And while my stomach isn't going down as quickly as I'd like, to see that my lower body is truly responding to the workouts and good eating habits helps to keep me motivated. My core feels stronger then ever so I know it's only a matter of time before my tummy flattens out. Time and of course cardio! Gotta blast that belly fat with some quality running time in addition to the 6 week 6 pack!
So that is my NSV for the month! Makes the early mornings SO worth it! I'll be needing to send Jillian Michaels a thank you card!
