And on to Day 3
When and what should we pray for? Just like where, this is something that can be done anytime. There are times we feel like praying to ask for things. And there are times we feel like praying about something bad. And that's what I want to talk about today. So very often we only pray when something bad happens. Or when we hear the pastor say ask and it will be given to you. And we get to asking. Asking for money and cars and jobs and husbands/wives and asking for more more more. I'm not going to tell you what to pray for or when to pray. That is totally between you and God. So I'll leave you some scriptures so you can see what the Bible has to say about it! Till next time!
1 Corinthians 1:4 I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus,
Ephesians 6:18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
Philippians 1:3-4 I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy,
Colossians 1:3 (KJV) We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
Psalm 50:14-15 Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High, and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”
Psalm 118:25 Save us, we pray, O LORD! O LORD, we pray, give us success!
