Keep it moving.

This weekend has been filled with every emotion possible. We finished getting the townhouse ready for new tenants. When we left yesterday the place sparkled!! We met the potential tenants. A lovely family. 2 boys another  little one on the way. They are in the process of selling their current home and are days away from the closing - so hopefully all will go well on Tuesday and they'll be moving in on Thursday! I really was surprised at the lack of care the previous tenants took of the place. But it is what it is. People show you through their actions and often words who they are. What their character is. Believe it! And either accept that its just who they are and move on or its just who they are and live with it! On our way out of town, we stopped for breakfast at IHOP and met up with a friend I hadn't seen in over 10 years!  I know its been that long because her son is 9 and she wasn't pregnant the last time I saw her! :-) It was so good to catch up with her! And to even find out what happened exactly the last time we were all together that lead to us not talking for all these years - Man I tell ya communication is KEY!!! Had we had this conversation many years ago, we could have avoided this long separation! But we've reconnected and gotten some things straight. We'll keep the lines of communication open so in the future we can now stay in touch. I also learned some things that disturbed me. In relationships (all of them not just romantic ones) we often have to decide if one persons flaws are things you can deal or live with. But there are things I'm seeing and learning about someone that I've been friends with for what seems like forever and I'm not sure our season should continue. It's something I'm praying about, that's for sure! I know that there are season people, reason people and lifetime people. I thought she was a lifetime person but you just never know. So I'm gonna keep praying about it and we'll see....
