First up - Sopapillas - The most delicious delectable food ever! Depending on the restaurant you visit they are served like this in place of tortillas or bread. Often with honey on the side. I like to open them up and pour the honey inside! And since I'm usually at a Mexican Restaurant eating these, I'll often put some rice and beans in the center as well! SO GOOD!
Or like this as dessert! With cinnamon and sugar and honey! Dip them or drizzle the honey over them! It is heavenly!
Next up - My favorite ice cream ever (next to homemade of course!)
I was thrilled to find out that here in MD they have Cold Stone! And I love it! I am addicted to their Sweet Cream. It's similar to Vanilla but better! I'm originally from Arizona and that is where this deliciousness originated! And we went at least once a month for a treat! And now I do the same here! Usually once a month we'll stop by Cold Stone and have a treat! Not more than that though - I am trying to be healthy and drop a few pounds! And ice cream will NOT help me on that path!
But I love it and in moderation it's ok! If you have not yet tried it and there's one near you or near that outlet mall you are headed to this weekend :-) give it a shot! There are a lot of options for add-ins and you are welcome to sample a few flavors before committing to one. And there are a few cold stone creations that you can choose from or create your own! My husband's favorite is their egg nog ice cream with brownie and chocolate and caramel syrup (egg nog is seasonal).

And last but certainly not least -
I am very sad that they do not sell this here. I tried to talk my husband into having some shipped to me but he quickly reminded me that no matter how tasty it is, he was not paying more to have it shipped than it would cost to buy a couple of gallons! Of course he was right (darn him and that common sense!) So now when I'm in Texas or Tennessee, I pick up a pint and enjoy.
Is there a store near you that sells Blue Bell? I asked that question when I moved to MD and found the answer on the Blue Bell FAQ page! If you haven't tried it and you live in one of these places, give it a shot! It's tasty! Happy Tuesday people!
Blue Bell is available in all or part of 20 states. Blue Bell is available in all of the following states: Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee. Blue Bell is also available in some parts of the following states: New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, North Carolina, Virginia, Colorado and Wyoming.

I have not been to cold stone as yet! I am curious to try it.
