Modesty Monday Part 3 - Clearly there are 3 parts and I'm only listing the last part. The other parts were good but I felt the message in this one was awesome. The way she talks about making decisions without praying about them, or even discussing them with her HOH - at the time, her father. And how her life change forever as a direct result of her movement away from God and relying on herself and not on Him to lead her in the direction she should go. And you can see God's love and grace. And the lessons He has to teach us.
I laughed until I cried - OK So that isn't even close to the title of the blog but I laughed so hard I cried. And then I had to pee... She has quite the way with words. Seriously if you need a laugh today check it out. (and then come back and let me know if you enjoyed it as much as I did!!)
Fifty Shades of Grey Review - I admit it, I read all 3 books. Partly because it was so bad it was good and partly because I wanted to know how it ended. And this is the BEST review of the book. It's hilarious and spot on. If you haven't read it - this is a spoiler. But an entertaining one.
Marriages Need a Village - I love this website. And I love the message of this post. In the spirit of it taking a village to raise a child, having a village for your marriage is also wonderful. It is really important in a marriage to have positive outside influences. Spending time with other married couples is important. It can be helpful to your own marriage to have people in healthy marriages to talk to and hang out with. Older married couples can be a wealth of knowledge, and many times they are more than willing to dole out advice.
3 Lessons Learned Post Divorce - This is a short post. With a great lesson. While she specifically mentions the issue of finding Mr. Right instead of waiting on God, these lessons can be applied to life in general.
