As much as I love the summer months. I look forward the fall here. It really is quite beautiful. The most beautiful park is just 20 min away and I've been looking forward to taking Bubba on walks. Fall arrived this week. And Bubba loves people watching. At least until his eyes get tired and he decides to nap :-) He was wide eyed for about 2 miles. Smiling at the people and checking out the dogs. Then he was knocked out. And I enjoyed the park. Of course I had forgotten over the summer how much my body hates walks in the park. I'm now dealing with a killer sinus headache. But it was worth it. These last few days have been great. And I'll just make sure to alternate my walks between the park and the mall for a few weeks until my body gets used to the changing of seasons! I'm up to 3.5 miles a day. My current goal is to make it up to 5-6 miles a day. In addition to the walking of course my girl Jillian is on deck! I just love her videos! I've been contemplating getting the new Shaun T workout but I think I'll wait till I've mastered the Jillian ones!.
As for my food. I've been really bad about keeping track of my intake. And I've recently discovered that Chic-Fil-A has the most amazing breakfast sandwiches! And that they serve milkshakes at breakfast... I'm slightly ashamed to say I've had a couple of days where I did a milkshake instead of orange juice. Their shakes are AMAZING!! And since I've recently been having bad reactions to eating diary at night, eating them in the morning has been much better for me! However I do realize that this can NOT become a habit. So I think I'll talk to hubs and see about making a once a month ice cream date. This way we can have that date to look forward to and enjoy a nice treat together. Without overindulging.
